Personally, I approve of Spike x Rarity pairing. It's quite sweet, I think.

It's a very nice painting, I'll say that. The silhouettes are all nice, the blush and the shine are well placed, which neatly bring the realism in the painting.

The reflections in the jewel are nice and fancy and all, but it, in my view, lacks the overall silk touch that make them shiny and much more admirable. I suggest you add more sparkles by basing it from the images of real-life jewels.

I also suggest a less tedious background. Nice backgrounds are nice. It gives a general atmosphere of the entire painting. floating hearts and streamers sound nice, which accentuates the Heart and Hooves of the day.

Nothing else I can say, or can be said. A wonderful painting indeed!

i once read a story saying that spike carve the fire ruby into heart to give rarity because he wasn't planning on eating it he was going to give to rarity so in a way he was giving rarity his heart
